Memorial Hall
| The 355m2 Memorial Hall is ideal for exhibitions, meetings, banquets, presentations, cocktail functions, weddings, concerts and themed events. Set up theatre-style it can accommodate 500 or 300 for dining.
With the addition of our custom-built marquee, up to 900 can be seated theatre-style or 500 for dining.
The former Memorial Town Hall was built on this site as a memorial to those men and women who served their country in two world wars. It was opened by the Governor of Victoria, Sir Rohan Delacombe in July 1963, the day the city celebrated 100 years of local government.
The opening of the new Performing Arts Centre coincides with the celebration of 50 years of Wangaratta being proclaimed a city. |
